Our esteemed client FamilyLink.com, Inc. has many features like Family Tree, Email, Family Photos, Feeds, Profiles and Relatives. Out of all these features Family Tree and Family photos are one of the important features of the FamilyLink portal. Some of the Xentoites were given the task of working on these two sections which demanded undying efforts, detailed study & attention, which could have otherwise resulted in loss of User Data. One of the challenging task was to move the Family Photos section from Family Link server to the Amazon S3 Server, which required changing the links of the existing photos and as well as route the new photos to the new server without causing loss of Userdata, which was perfectly executed by our Team. Importing photos from Picasa and Flickr was facilitated which was also integrated to FamilyLink portal.

Family Tree section is another third party application which was supposed to be embedded in Family Link website. The task was so complex that it couldn’t have been separated from the core, hence a roundabout was done which successfully embedded the application without disturbing the old data.
